Apr-3: Finalize basic Use Cases template; quickly skim the publication schedule

Apr-24 / May-8: Fix basic Functional Requirements template based on a concrete eample

May-15 and May-22: Fix basic Technical Requirements based on a concrete example

Ege: I am not sure if I understand the days after today

Kaz: fix means finalization in this case

Mizushima: any objections or opinions to the plan?

(none; approved)

<Tomo> Proposal: use-case-template-2024.md as the basic template is approved.

Proposal: Accept use-case-template-2024.md as the basic template

RESOLUTION: Accept use-case-template-2024.md as the basic template

Further Discussion on the Template

How to apply existing guidelines within the old template?

<kaz> new template

<kaz> old template

Mizushima: We have the guidelines in the previous template as 1-2 sentence at each title

Ege: we can use it and then we should link or give a specific example. E.g. what is a target user example

README.md

<kaz> README.md

Mizushima: I would like to work on the flow of how someone uses

PR 280

PR 280 - update README.md

Mahda: Could you clarify if we want to use this template on the existing use cases?

Mizushima: This PR is for new submitters

Ege: Pull Request is only possible for IG members. Does this change mean that only IG members can submit Use Cases?

Mizushima: good point

Kaz: I think we can mention that the current readme is vague and we need improvements
… we got UCs from outsiders beforehand via issues so we should mention this explicitely in the readme

Kaz: we can have an issue about this point

Ege: I have created the issue at w3c/wot-usecases#281

Kaz: this is fine as a starting point

Mizushima: if no objections, I would like to merge this PR

Ege: looks good to me

Mizushima: (merged PR 280)

<Zakim> Ege, you wanted to clarify what PR we are talking about

Kaz: It is for the issue above

Kaz: we can have further brainstorming on the process, but concrete proposal via a PR should be also welcome :)

Mizushima: adjourned
