Meeting minutes

[new] AccName#221 Ambiguous but normative requirement about hidden nodes is hidden by default in AccName w3c/accname#211 dmontalvo]

spectranaut_: jcraig asked that we have a project around "hidden"

pkra: do we have something to do here now?

spectranaut_: I thought pkra should see this to keep track

pkra: good point. I thought we would change organization for 1.4 but I couldn't make TPAC

spectranaut_: that's still open

jnurthen: there was one merged PR that doesn't seem to who.
w3c/accname#189

jnurthen: w3c/accname#198

pkra: PR is w3c/accname#199

jnurthen: but it's not showing on github.io
… ah, it didn't cover all of them.
… we should fix those.

pkra: going back to last week. Has a monorepo ever been considered?
… like CSSWG has

jnurthen: don't know the history. specs were maintained by other groups.
… but perhaps worth discussing

pkra: just an idea given how the discussion came to a standstil

jnurthen: we should ask CSS WG what kind of pain points they have with a single repositor.
… they only have 65 PRs which seems very low.
… I can reach out.

spectranaut_: that sounds good.
… probably confusing in the short run
… we should preserve the history.

pkra: I think that should be possible.

jnurthen: maybe github people can help

daniel: bocoup can help maybe, too.

[continue] roll out prettier setup to not just graphics-aria

pkra: I've done two more test setups
… svg-aam for an AAM w3c/svg-aam#27
… and dpub-aria w3c/dpub-aria#58
… should we consider a lower length?
… could people take a look to see if they still like it for an AAM and an ARIA_like spec?

jnurthen: we'll probably really only know once we have a practical PR.
… do we have a PR?

pkra: I can look around for a suitable spec.

jnurthen: we should talk to Matt before doing something to DPUB

pkra: I'll ping him on the PR.

daniel: I'll write to Matt as well.

jnurthen: let's do a graphics-aam PR

pkra: you could merge w3c/graphics-aria#10

[continue] aria#1993 quo vadis contributors.md w3c/aria#1993

pkra: we wanted to do the same for other specs?

jnurthen: yes.

<spectranaut_> https://www.w3.org/TR/selectors-3/#ACKS

pkra: so how do we proceed?
… create issues in each spec?

jnurthen: yeah. though we really need PRs.
… it's a tiny change.

[on Hold] spec markup for advice for AT (jnurthen)

pkra: still on hold?

jnurthen: yes, haven't got to it.

pkra: still no good example?

jnurthen: yes.

jnurthen: here's the link / query https://github.com/search?q=is%3Aopen+repo%3Aw3c%2Faria+repo%3Aw3c%2Faccname+repo%3Aw3c%2Fcore-aam+repo%3Aw3c%2Fhtml-aam+repo%3Aw3c%2Fdpub-aam+repo%3Aw3c%2Fdpub-aria+repo%3Agraphics-aria%2F+repo%3Agraphics-aam+repo%3Aaria-common++label%3AAgenda-Editors&type=issues
