Meeting minutes
QingAn: what's the status of the FO for the charter?
xfq: I pinged chaals already, no reply yet
… I'll keep writing to him until TPAC
… or we can find him in TPAC
QingAn: our charter expires, right?
xfq: it's not a problem unless we want to publish specs
QingAn: I think we already addressed all the issues Chaals raised
xfq: we wanted some clarification on the issues he mentioned
… one on the deliverables, the other is about the wide review
… we removed the components according to his advice
… we need an approval from him anyway
QingAn: how about the reply to the TAG comments?
xfq: waiting for a review from Martin
zitao: I'll ping Martin
Status of the specs
QingAn: not much progress on Lifecycle
xfq: we need to close all the issues before moving to CR
… please close #22
QingAn: this is not included in our scope
zitao: I'll try to ping the guys who raised the issue
QingAn: yes, please, I already explained the situation to they in a f2f meeting
zitao: Manifest and Package, no much update
… looking into the security issue raised by the TAG
… if the comment gets accepted, we should update the spec accordingly
… waiting for the suggestion from the TAG
xfq: there are some other issues, specially the one about sessions
… and the one about "req_permission"
zitao: I will talk to Martin and work on these two
xfq: sub-package is relevant to the TAG comments
zitao: QingAn and Dan, please take a look at the proposal of sub-package and tell us if the industry can accept it
… it's an important part in our product
Dan: is it already inside the spec?
zitao: not yet, waiting for your comments
Dan: we support streaming in downloading, but not sure if it's in rendering
… sounds like a right time to add it to the spec
zitao: I remember someone in the community talked about a use case for streaming media MiniApp
Dan: sub-package is widely adopted by the major vendors, streaming needs more discussion
zitao: good idea
xfq: sub-package already has impact on the manifest spec
zitao: indeed
zitao: addressing is a very important spec
Dan: yes, once the new charter gets approved, we can publish a FPWD for addressing
… #13 can be merged
zitao: give me a ping anytime you need my review :)
zitao: Components, Martin updated the spec, perhaps he can give an update in the next meeting
TPAC agenda
xiaoqian: if we want to publish CR, we should have a test suite
… even if it's not complete
… and don't have impls
https://
Dan: let us talk with our own product team and come up with a plan later
xiaoqian: after entering CR, we can consider implementing the specs
… because it's stable enough
… web app manifest will be discussed in TPAC
QingAn: I might only be able to attend remotely this time
zitao: me too
