<lisa_phone> Keeping the

wcag process with Rachael

Rachael: Review of the Proposed Process from Chair Working Document

Rachael: Many forms of communications; we can lose threads, moderation tends to happen in meetings. Most of W3C works directly in github.... and we should try this (github centered process)

<julierawe> Rachael, when is the normal AG meeting time (for the training sessions on Aug 8 and 15)?

Rachael: Coming weeks are training oriented.... Aug 8th/15th (normal AG time). Coming to at least one would be useful. Aug 22nd is the kick off.

Rachael: The meeting is 11-1 EST

<Rachael> Agendas are at: https://www.w3.org/WAI/GL/wiki/Upcoming_agendas

<Rachael> https://docs.google.com/document/d/1G0yJD3mKhjdAYaHKFFa_e2WxYYNrPl_ymXbUxRavgeE/edit#heading=h.fuhxq2ykrsk1

Rachel: Please reach out to me as needed for any questions.

Rachael: We will continue to send emails about meetings, but there will be a central meeting page with the relevant information (on meetings).

Rachael: (in future), users can review the members activities. Review and preview via docs with occasional thumbs up and down via github.

Rachael: Telecoms will focus on future conversations, more than active discussion and decision making.

Rachael: There will be a link for upcoming topics (for review), short and medium term document review and creation.

Rachael: Format will be Summary, Maturity, Action Needed and Questions

Rachael and Julie discussed how pull requests would work, workflows, review owners, etc.

Eric: Asked about optimal way to introduce screen reader users. Rachael can organize training from experienced existing users.

<Rachael> group-ag-chairs@w3.org

Julie: We should craft an invitation to the group to attend the upcoming training.

issues . see https://github.com/w3c/coga/issues?q=is%3Aissue+is%3Aopen+

<Rachael> rachael: Consider changing the title and first sentence to "Additional considerations when user testing with people with cognitive and learning disabilities."

<Rachael> ...at least remove the double negative that is in the title and first sentence

<becca_monteleone> +1 to reframing title

Julie: Will create and send the emails out for the trainings.
