Collaboration Tools Accessibility User Requirements.
COGA has taken up a review of CTAUR, as reflected in recent meeting minutes.

Media Accessibility User Requirements.
jasonjgw: No new news ...
Janina notes the Media interest group that has recently been rechartered. APA reviewed the charter, in draft, and negotiated further dialogue, noting a mutual understanding that MAUR would be revised. A meeting has been scheduled for 11 July to commence the ocnversation with the Media interest group.
Janina: we'll find out what their plans are and the implications for our work.
Janina: we'll discuss our plans to consider certain topics more deeply during TPAC 2023.
Janina notes considerable intersection of this APA work with RQTF.
Janina expects the TPAC schedule to be relatively well defined by the end of July, noting that TPAC is on the week of 11 September.
jasonjgw: Expects most of our work will follow TPAC
Janina would like to see an initial working draft (editor's draft).
Janina suggests a first public working draft after TPAC, taking into account those discussions.
Coordination regarding Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 3.0.
jasonjgw: Announcing a wiki page for this work ...
jasonjgw: Textual Alternatives esp for children was one substantive topic noted
Janina notes that there will be textual alternatives for different audiences, and this issue should therefore be coordianted with the wAI-ADAPT Task Force (interested in textual alternatives for people with learning/cognitive disabilities).
jasonjgw: Yes, Rachael can forward topics to us there
jasonjgw: Will help us coordinate with AGWG
scoWhat's the best way to approach at this point?
scoAre we waiting for specific research questions from AGWG?
jasonjgw: i think it's to be determined in more detail than we currently have
Janina suggests we can start identifying use cases for the "text alterantives for children" topic.
Janina suggests we recognize the need to define "alt" differently depending on the intended audience (when there is one), and notes the role of media types in characterizing alternative content.
Janina also expects topics to arise from COGA.
Janina further notes the support for AAC that is now specified (as a Candidate Recommendation).
Janina: a demonstration is expected at TPAC.
Janina: this work won't be ready to exit CR by then, but progress will have been made. The importance of authoring tool support is also noted (for inserting the necessary markup).
Janina: we'll have authoring tool demonstrations also.
Janina: improvement is also planned in the procedures for adding further symbols to the registry.
Janina: expects there will be explanatory materials available to publicize the work at conferences etc.
jasonjgw: Yes, AAC will require lang in WCAG3, too
jasonjgw: Anything else now?
