Meeting minutes

New input

PR 553

<McCool> PR 553 - Initial wot-rust submission

Kaz: It seems there are still some errors with the testing tools, so I'm wondering about how to improve the situation. Can we make sure that the testing procedure is complete? For example, can we generate some edge test data in addition to the live date?

Ege: we do coverage tests for playground but they are outdated a bit but the bug I saw was in the testing repo

McCool: I saw duplicate assertions, it is a data problem

Luca: it is updated now

http://plugfest.thingweb.io/playground/

Ege: what is your experience regarding the manual csv ?

Luca: it is very annoying to use

https://www.w3.org/2022/wot/td/v1.1

Ege: you have failing TDs

Ege: you need to update the context value

<McCool> correct value is https://www.w3.org/2022/wot/td/v1.1

Ege: you are using the TD 1.0 context and you should use the 1.1 context

McCool: it seems that your year is wrong in the context

McCool: is it in all the TDs?

Luca: yes since they are generated from the same implementation

<kaz> The point here is "https://www.w3.org/2019/wot/td/v1.1" to be fixed as "https://www.w3.org/2022/wot/td/v1.1"

McCool: it would be good to have container so that the testing is quicker

PR 556

<kaz> PR 556 - Add removing prelim results for wot-experimental

McCool: does it influence other implementations?

Ege: no. This was my oversight on forgetting this

McCool: ok good we can merge it and rerun the result generator

PR 553 (revisited)

<kaz> PR 553 - Initial wot-rust submission

McCool: validation is passing, we can merge it

<kaz> merged

Implementation Report Updates

McCool: let's regenerate the record

TD PR 1805

<kaz> wot-thing-description PR 1805 - Apr 2023 IR Update

McCool: I will rerun the report generator

Priorities

<kaz> Testfest page

McCool: it seems that we can get the TD assertions done by end of the week except low prio ones
… for discovery we need some more implementaitons for discoverer
… we need another CoAP implementation though

McCool: next week we can meet me and Ege to finalize the results

Kaz: We should clarify what to be done next week by you two, and then what to be confirmed and discussed in two weeks officially. Given we'll have the AC Meeting in France right after the Golden Week holidays, we need to update the timeline and also clarify what to be done by when.

New input (revisited)

PR 557

PR 557 - Add wot-rust results, script fixes

McCool: the testing tool has finished
… it seems that the mainly wot-rust got added

McCool: wot rust did not change the implementation coverage but it is still good to have this

Implementation Report Updates (revisited)

PR 1805 of TD (revisited)

<kaz> wot-thing-description PR 1805 - Apr 2023 IR Update

<kaz> merged

McCool: it has retired 6 at risk assertions

Ege: how many at risk left?

Kaz: we're getting out of time, so would suggest we summarize the updated situation, e.g., remaining features at-risk, which are the priority and how to handle them. Then let's report it back to the whole WG so that we can have further discussion in two weeks (after the AC Meeting).

McCool: I will send an email
… implementation reports are up to date
