Meeting minutes

Agenda

<kaz> Agenda for today

<kaz> Testfest page

McCool: Have some new contributions, would look at PRs first and then update reports and see where we are.

Expect to be able to resolve some issues after merging PRs.

PR #550

<kaz> PR 550 - Update Intel wot-ha and add intel-nodejs Discovery results

Resolves security bootstrapping in WoT Discovery.

No objections to merging, merged.

<McCool> w3c/wot-testing#550 merged

PR #551

<kaz> PR 551 - WoT Discovery implementation report for Krellian Cloud

McCool: I will need to do some cleanup later.

Reviewed by Ege, looks appropriate. No objections to merging, merged.

<McCool> w3c/wot-testing#551 merged

PR #552

<kaz> PR 552 - WoT Discovery implementation report for WebThings Gateway

McCool: Also Discovery, will have to update results for this too. Looks fine. Inconsistent double quotes and apostrophes, will see what happens.

Suggest merging and see if it causes any problems with CSV.

No objections, merged.

<McCool> w3c/wot-testing#552 merged

PR #553

<kaz> PR 553 - Initial wot-rust submission

McCool: This is a draft.

Ege, can you ping Luca for this?

Ege: Yes, will do

PR #554

<kaz> PR 554 - Implementation Updates for wot-experimental and node-wot

Ege: Let me change one small thing

<McCool> https://github.com/w3c/wot-testing/pull/554/files

No objections to merging. Merged.

Ege: Need to clarify 5 assertions to not be at risk any more.

(McCool is adding newly merged results)

Will now update WoT Discovery results

Looks like we resolved quite a few at risk assertions, will update the at risk items

PR #474 (Discovery)

<kaz> wot-discovery PR 474 - Apr 2023 IR update - merge wot-ha and intel-nodejs results

McCool: New PR to update results, with updated at-risk items

Security bootstrapping endpoints is resolved

(Added comment to PR to list which at risk assertions have been resolved)

PR #555

<kaz> PR 555 - Updated TDs and TMs, fixed Krellian Discovery results

McCool: New PR to add Krellian results to results directory, merged in results from Ege. Updated CSV files for 5 TD implementations. Should resolve quite a few things in TD.

No objections to merging. Merged.

<kaz> rragent, draft miutes

<McCool> w3c/wot-discovery#474 merged

PR #474 (Discovery) - revisited

<kaz> wot-discovery PR 474 - Apr 2023 IR update

No objections, merged. Updated Discovery implementation report which resolves 5 additional assertions.

(McCool updates the list of at-risk assertions in the TestFest README)

McCool: That resolves 8 assertions out of 40, so still have quite a few to go with Discovery.

Updated TD Testing Results

(McCool lists assertions which have been resolved)

McCool: This resolves about half of them.

Ege: These results don't make sense, can't have one assertion pass without the other.

McCool: Problem with your results?

Ege: I will look quickly

McCool: Definitely showing as being resolved

McCool: I've made a PR for this but won't merge it, will deal with this tomorrow

Ege: It is an automatic one, maybe there is something wrong with the implementation

Kaz: Is this resource online?

McCool: Just about to push it now

<McCool> wot-thing-description PR 1805 - Apr 2023 IR Update

McCool: Since we're running out of time, won't merge. Will let Ege look at the PR and check it.

Ege: If don't include the name explicitly, not passing the test.

McCool: May be able to pass additional ones

Ege: Exactly

McCool: Will update README but not delete Things

PR #393 (Profile)

<McCool> wot-profile PR 393 - Re-generate template.csv for 2023-04 TestFest

McCool: Will go ahead and merge this, but will regenerate implementation report which will probably end up re-writing it. The main thing to note is that the index column doesn't exist in the new version. The tools don't care about this because it goes by assertion IDs, not the sequence number.

Main thing is up to date assertion IDs

McCool: Yes, as long as the assertion IDs and status columns are there, the rest is ignored by tooling
… Will later be overwritten, but merging this PR
… Assuming TD stuff gets resolved, half of the TD ones should go away. Made progress with discovery, resolved 8. Can't work on anything for the rest of today. May have to submit more results on Friday after TestFest, but won't have anything new for tomorrow. Will see what we have for tomorrow. Can make sure TD stuff is all taken care of, and will
… update Profile if any results come in for that.

McCool: That's all I have for today, anything else?

Meeting adjourned.
