Meeting minutes

Previous minutes

<dape> -> April 3

Daniel: no objections, minutes approved

PRs

Zoltan: the pending PRs don't conflict with the group resolution for publishing, since they are only stylistical changes.

Daniel: can we publish the doc as it is, Kaz?

Kaz: yes, we can

Daniel: we got some feedback from Ege, which have been resolved

Daniel: do we require a group resolution for publication?

Kaz: Yes, we should ask the whole WoT-WG for a resolution to publish the draft. Note that we already asked the WG to review the draft two weeks ago, so we should publish the draft as is (=without any changes).

<kaz> PR 469 - [WiP] Align spec with INFRA

Zoltan: in the open PR there are small changes, including autolinking, dot notation for dictionaries, etc.

Kaz: technically we should not add any change, but editorial changes can be added if we mentioned this for the grou
… the group then decides
… but if participants want changes, we will need to wait for one more week

Kaz: the task force needs to make a decision, and bring that to the WG

Daniel: is it enough if I review it, as Cristiano is busy now?

Kaz: we should confirm 2 resolutions

Kaz: let's make a resolution that DP reviews the open PR and see if that should be merged before the main call
… if it can be merged, then we can ask the whole WG to approve the publication including this change

Zoltan: makes sense

Daniel: yes, will do that: review, approve/request changes, and in the best case we can merge it before the WG call
… if we don't manage, we can still discuss with the group to approve with the pending editorial PR

Kaz: even though the changes are editorial, it is not a small change, so I suggest to merge after the publication, if participants want to review it more thoroughly.

Zoltan: these are just editorial changes with no impact to any implementations, so I don't expect any conflicts from the group.

Daniel: OK, let's try to merge this PR until the group call

Zoltan: and we will see what the group says

Kaz: if the TF wants to include this open PR, we should make a TF resolution for that

<dape> PROPOSAL: The Scripting task force will have a thorough review of the "editorial" PR 469 https://github.com/w3c/wot-scripting-api/pull/469. If the result of the review is ok we will bring it to the main WoT call on Wed on April 19 and explain the reason for this last-minute change before publication.
