Agenda Review & Announcements

<janina> Jutta Treviranus presentation

janina: Big WoT part today, had productive conversations with the group

janina: Recommending the above linked presentation. Really worth our attention, it's thought provoking.

(Welcome to Susana Pallero, everyone introduces themselves)

RIP Trackbot!

janina: Goodbye trackbot, hello GitHub. Our transition to Github will be finished soon

TPAC 2023 Planning

janina: It is still planned to happen, however the calendering was not so well advised. Major jewish holidays

<matatk> https://www.w3.org/wiki/TPAC/2023

WoT PR Response w3c/wot-charter-drafts#77

matatk: Some discussions started around our feedback on WoT

matatk: We can subscribe to these issues as individuals, if someone is interested

matatk: Quite urgent and a big opportunity for us: It's about scoping the work, more precisely a onboarding section

matatk: They welcome feedback

janina: A part about fault tolerance would be great. If a device goes down because of a hurrican for example and you have to start it again

matatk: janina and i should add something to this as fast as we can, here is also the chance to talk/ ask for the fault tolerance

janina: Should we read the onboarding here and now for everyone to see if we have something else to add

<matatk> https://w3c.github.io/wot-charter-drafts/wot-wg-2023-details.html#onboarding-workitem

(matatk reads the onboarding section above)

matatk: It's about getting the thing connected to the network. We should say something about a11y

janina: Then we will move ahead with this one

New Charters Review https://github.com/w3c/strategy/issues?q=is%3Aissue+is%3Aopen+label%3A%22Horizontal+review+requested%22

Decentralized Identifier WG

<Roy> - charter: https://w3c.github.io/did-wg-charter/

matatk: I don't think this relates to us

janina: Let's take one more week for this

Explicit Review Requests https://github.com/w3c/a11y-request/issues

<matatk> I checked and am happy with w3c/a11y-request#55

<Roy> https://github.com/w3c/a11y-request/issues

<matatk> ^ Digital Publishing WAI-ARIA Module 1.1 and Digital Publishing AAM 1.1

matatk: Haven't emailed yet, but i reviewed these two and i don't have any concerns here

<matatk> Multi-Screen Window Placement - w3c/a11y-request#45

<matatk> Reminder of Mike's review email: https://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-apa/2023Mar/0006.html

matatk: Another topic: Multi Screen Window Placement. Found at least on use case from RQTF. Should we wrap it up and link to this one or give this one more week to work more on it

janina: The former option sounds good (link to this one use case is fine)

<Roy> - tracking: https://www.w3.org/WAI/APA/wiki/WebTransport

<Roy> - TR: https://www.w3.org/TR/webtransport/

matatk: It is really low level, so not important for us

janina: For these documents we still should look, if it is well formated

janina: We can sign off this one

new on TR http://www.w3.org/TR/tr-status-drafts.html

PaulG: Nothing to report this week

Actions Checkin (Specs) https://www.w3.org/WAI/APA/track/actions/open

<matatk> I completed https://www.w3.org/WAI/APA/track/actions/2339 per the email list (Contact Picker API comment)

<matatk> ACTION-2340: Review https://www.w3.org/tr/web-locks/ - I have reviewed it, and am happy it has no accessibility implications.

<trackbot> Notes added to ACTION-2340 Review https://www.w3.org/tr/web-locks/.

matatk: About Web Locks: I haven't closed the action, will do it now after i told you about it. It is also low level, we have no issues here

janina: We can close this one (no objections from the group)

HTML Attribute Requested

<janina> whatwg/html#9084

<Lionel_Wolberger> +1 to the request for adapt- !

janina: I also have one, more like a formal information: We requested an HTML Attribute "adapt-". Got green light last year from the group while talking to them during TPAC
