… please send me material
… will circulate draft soon

Sebastian: Let's take a look at it next week again

Sebastian: Ege, what about ex MagentaZuhauseApp
… can we mention it on the slides?

Sebastian: Can provide Siemens information to our products

<Ege> https://github.com/w3c/wot-cg/blob/main/Presentations/2022/2022-08-WoTCG-Meetup2-MagentaZuhauseApp-Winkler.pdf

Ege: Shall I ask whether I can point people to MagentaZuhauseApp?

McCool: Yes, maybe they have other / better slides
… Ege could start with intro e-mail

Sebastian: Makes sense

Kaz: We can mention Siemens, Takanaka etc
… using TPAC slides

McCool: Maybe Takanaka can give me some slides I can use

Cancellations and updates

<kaz> Cancellations

Sebastian: TestFest this week
… no call on Friday
… all task force meetings are cancelled
… use-case call planned for next week Tuesday
… new WebEx provided
… be aware of that

Testfest updates

https://github.com/w3c/wot-testing/tree/main/events/2022.12.Online

McCool: Pending PRs
… we are making good process on TD
… new input on Discovery and Profile also

Publications

Sebastian: Received feedback from W3M
… got feedback that TD CR request is okay
… TAG and Security review has been solved/closed

McCool: Suggest to close Arch#809

<kaz> wot-architecture issue 809 - Fix normative references / convert to informative, where applicable

<sebastian> https://github.com/w3c/wot-architecture/issues/809

<McCool_> proposal: close issue 809 in the architecture repo: https://github.com/w3c/wot-architecture/issues/809 and proceed with CR transition

RESOLUTION: close issue 809 in the architecture repo: https://github.com/w3c/wot-architecture/issues/809 and proceed with CR transition

Sebastian: w.r.t Discovery

https://github.com/w3c/transitions/issues/465

McCool: issue with older SSE reference... now pointing to living HTML document
… I created a PR#446 in wot-discovery
https://github.com/w3c/wot-discovery/pull/446

Lagally: Would like to check what we use in Profile

<McCool_> proposal: merge https://github.com/w3c/wot-discovery/pull/446 and proceed with CR transition for WoT Discovery

Lagally: We use https://www.w3.org/TR/eventsource/
… in Profile

McCool: HTML contains now SSE

McCool: Any objection?

Lagally: No, it's fine

Kaz: Okay with the change
… for Architecture document we used HTML as reference name

<kaz> "Server-Sent Events [HTML]."

Kaz: suggest to use the same for discovery

McCool: That's what we are doing also
… anyhow, should check other documents as well

RESOLUTION: merge https://github.com/w3c/wot-discovery/pull/446 and proceed with CR transition for WoT Discovery

McCool: Will ping PLH that we are ready

Sebastian: Great

Sebastian: Publication Dec 15?

Kaz: Need to re-run checkers
… might take a bit longer.. will let you know

Sebastian: Thanks!

Lagally: Working draft for Profile is due
… hope we can publish before christmas break

Sebastian: dedicated topic on agenda.. we will come back to it

Kaz: Ralph is busy these days. PLH works on director decisions, so please mention PLH and Yves as well as Ralph (as you already did on the Transition Requests).

Testimonials

Sebastian: Please check whether your testimonials are up-to-date

McCool: We have 7 testimonials
… some are just copies of last year
… need AC rep to approve them

McCool: testimonial should cover all specs, Arch, TD and Discovery
… or being generic might be useful also

McCool: Oracle is missing?
… WebThing is missing also

Lagally: Wonder whether we need details. Suggest to be generic

McCool: could talk about "the WoT specifications"

Sebastian: Testimonial is shared in test report.. not for press release

McCool: Not clear whether we have a single testimonial for all CRs or a dedicated one
… is there an official policy?

Kaz: Putting in each impl report is done usually
… however we can decide
… process does not define where to put testimonials

McCool: I suggest to discuss this in testing call

Kaz: We should be aware that we might want to issue a press release as well

McCool: We can ask AC reps for both purposes

Sebastian: Request, please check with your AC rep

Other notes

Sebastian: IANA registration?

McCool: Half done.. we are waiting
… DID is in process

Profile

McCool: We have draft, see https://w3c.github.io/wot-profile/publication/2-wd/Overview.html
… we miss changelog
… I created PR#337
… PR contains change-log

Lagally: I am reviewing the change log right now

<kaz> wot-profile PR 337 - Prepare 2-WD Release (phase 1)

Lagally: happy with merging it

Kaz: Several PRs?

McCool: Yes, but only first one had change log

<McCool_> proposal: accept the change log added in https://github.com/w3c/wot-profile/pull/337 for WoT Profile and proceed with WD publication based on the current draft in publication/2-wd

RESOLUTION: accept the change log added in https://github.com/w3c/wot-profile/pull/337 for WoT Profile and proceed with WD publication based on the current draft in publication/2-wd

McCool: I think we are ready now

Kaz: Close issue 338 ?

McCool: Correct

Kaz: Continue to work on publication

Sebastian: Thanks!

Schedule updates

Sebastian: I think we are mostly on time

schedule

New WG Charter

Sebastian: Special week, Jan 16-18 to complete a finalized new WG charter

Special Meetings for Charter discussion

Sebastian: Please use GitHub to provide issues/comments

Sebastian: Binding will be a major topic in new charter
… OPCUA, ECHONET, BACnet, ...

Kaz: WebEx for special meeting has been allocated already
… information is on wiki and in your inbox

CG topics

Ege: conflict with tomorrows TestFest call?

Kaz: Skip CG meeting?

McCool: Invitation got out to many people ... difficult to re-schedule

Lagally: Conflict if we change TestFest

Kaz: Ege is essential for TestFest as well

McCool: Let's have testing call next week

Ege: next time it would be better to have TestFest calls at the same time over the week

McCool: People had conflicts
… we will have both calls.. Ege will be in CG call

McCool: I think CG call is important
… we can catch up with Ege in next TestFest call

Ege: Putting CG event in WG calendar would be an alternative... we could see it easier next time

McCool: Maybe cross posting it
… need WoT "view" feature

Kaz: Do not like to mix up calendars
… Can also cancel TestFest call

McCool: lot to do in TestFest call also without Ege

Ege: I can make the testing call next week

Sebastian: Let's have both calls

McCool: We might need another TestFest end of January

Kaz: Please make sure avoiding conflicts in the future.

Sebastian/McCool: Agree

TF Reports

Sebastian: Important topics since we are late?

Ege: FYI, lot of marketing invites to clean-up links
… should not happen again

McCool: Note: different WebEx for TestFest

<kaz> [adjourned]
