Review minutes
<kaz> Oct-24
since no objections are presented minutes are aproved
CR transition
<kaz> transitions issue 465 - CR Request for Web of Things (WoT) Discovery
there are some horizontal issues
a label called Awaiting for Editors has been created
the issues are in blue, if they are solved, and in red if they need
some work
McCool: what we need to be done here is walk through the issues and check if they are resolved
<kaz> wot-discovery issue 254 - Review Security and Privacy Considerations
<kaz> wot-discovery issue 316 - Specify Sorting Algorithm|
McCool: it seems there is an issue not resolved, UTF-8 order is different Unicode point order (issue 316)
<kaz> s/algorithm|/algorithm/
mccool sends an email to Addison Phillips asking him, since he posted the issue, his collaboration for resolving the issue
the sorting algorithm could be solved with a PR, the suggestion is to use Unicode code point order
although, this would re-open our implementation requirements
mccool answers in the thread of the issue
then, there is another issue about time zone
issue #321
<kaz> Issue 321 - Registration information timezone handling
McCool: I thought it was already resolved
Farshid: I think the issue was about the fact that the text mentions xsd:dateTime that is not strictly RDF3339
McCool: the time zone is an additional requirement on top of the SHACL dateTime
<kaz> Issue 320 - Question is id in 7.2.2.1.1 the same as TD id?
the other issue is #320
that is about having URLs as IDs
for instance /things/https://
McCool: next issue is the refine DNS-SD name requirements and IANA Consideration
IANA registration
<kaz> Issue 403 - Refine DNS-SD Name Requirements and IANA Consideration
next issue is 403
mccool performs the registration
since no objections are presented, the registration is complete
completed*
McCool: let's keep the issue opened until a response is received
… it could be one week, but hopefully it could be earlier
test fest
McCool: we have a test fest for December 6
next week we should prepare a plan for closing the open issues in discovery
in the meantime, if people can upload new implementation reports it could be good
the meeting ends
