janina: Issues around the setup process which can be very inaccessible

janina: Typically, there is no way for a consumer to know how accessible the setup process is before making the purchase

janina: Issues around the wireless hub ecosystem for these devices

janina: One issue is when these devices need to be rebooted and an individual must interact directly with the device

janina: The "Matter" smart home standard is often used because it uses less power

JPaton: understand the need for an accessible control point hub

jasonjgw: Protocols for such things have a keen interest in security to stop hacking attempts

janina: Lots of meeting updates have been made

janina: Next week we should spend time walking through these meetings

janina: Currently, only the times are listed, but the Zoom links will come later

janina: We have a Thursday meeting looking at synchronization

janina: Plan to walk through all these meetings next week during our regular call
