Accessibility of collaboration tools.

jasonjgw: In a very early stage; no comments have been delivered

jasonjgw: Will come back to this on another meeting

Reporting API use cases.

jasonjgw: Decided to bring this back for today's meeting

jasonjgw: Wiki page is up

Draft W3C Accessibility Maturity Model.

Sheri_B-H: Have been working on this for about a year

Sheri_B-H: Wanted this to be an independent model that would be flexible to apply across industries

Sheri_B-H: We used "dimensions" which looks at all sorts of elements like training, procurement, etc.

Sheri_B-H: Have created some automated scoring sheets to start out

Sheri_B-H: Questions?

janina: The migration has moved from Googledocs to GitHub

Sheri_B-H: We would like to get some early feedback now before more progress continues

jasonjgw: It looks nearly ready as a first public working draft

jasonjgw: It seem very close to publication; are there other issues which will prevent publication

Sheri_B-H: No...don't think there are any big issues

Sheri_B-H: We would like to add use-case studies after FPWD

jasonjgw: What about messaging?

Sheri_B-H: Have begun to work on that

jasonjgw: Looking at fixing validity errors; a few other editorial items were noted

jasonjgw: Anyone else have concerns or issues?

scott_h: I looked at it and it looks like an excellent document

MichaelC: Looking at this now...it might be helpful to move the key terms later in the document

Sheri_B-H: This was a deliberate step based on COGA needs

MichaelC: Would suggest linking to these terms early on in the document as a compromise

kline: One of the key elements needs to be a mechanism to get to the spreadsheet

jasonjgw: Should be a resource link from the document to send people there

kline: Wants to be sure the spreadsheet is just as available as the document itself

Sheri_B-H: The spreadsheet is in Google; so we'll need to look at getting that onto the W3C website

janina: We have had problems before with Google doc materials with other groups

MichaelC: Typically, these sorts of materials have been made downloadable files

Sheri_B-H: CSV file format probably won't carry over the formulas

MichaelC: Perhaps leave the Google version now before switching to a longer-term format

jasonjgw: Creating as HTML with JavaScript might be the best option

Sheri_B-H: That may work; we only used Google sheets to start because of familiarity and ease of working with

kline: Whatever the final format may be, we just need to ensure the user can use this tool in such a way to keep their data provate

kline: It needs to be confidential to the end user

jasonjgw: That is why we need to have this not running in such a way that the data gets loaded to a server

jasonjgw: Client-side HTM should work

jasonjgw: The ancillary resources are not a primary issue for the FPWD

jasonjgw: Other issues?

janina: We can add editor's notes about the interim state of the spreadsheet technology

janina: That may forestall such concers

janina: That sounds like a good fix for now

jasonjgw: Let's have the subgroup fix the few issues, once they have a consensus it is ready to go, then RQTF can look at it as well

Proposed W3C Workshop on Immersive Worlds on the Web.

jasonjgw: There is an open issue for reviewing the call for workshop

jasonjgw: Looking at interoperability of immersive environments

janina: Not sure when comments and or proposals are due, we need to look into that

jasonjgw: The accessibility aspect seems to be included, but was more about interoperability and portability of virtual objects

jasonjgw: There do seem to be some distant new dimensions to accessibility, but wondering what others think?

jasonjgw: Comments on the proposal??

janina: Maybe take another week or so?

scott_h: I can look at this for next week

Reporting API use cases.

Miscellaneous topics.

First Public Working Draft of Ethical Principles for web Machine Learning.

jasonjgw: Let's move that one to next week as well

jasonjgw: Scott will take care of next week's meeting due to my absence
