janina: there is a W3C rate for the hotel.

NeilS: Apple now supports SSML for the web speech API

Action Items https://www.w3.org/WAI/APA/task-forces/pronunciation/track/actions/open

I'm out next week (vacation) I hope to have time to work on my action item(s)

<NeilS> Apple announcement of SSML support around the 7 min mark of this accessibility video: https://developer.apple.com/videos/play/wwdc2022/10153/

janina: I've sent a draft for action-38 to the list.

Github Issues https://github.com/w3c/pronunciation/issues

https://github.com/w3c/pronunciation/issues/114

janina: we looked at EML recently but I'm not sure where it ended up. I intend to follow up with them. They may be interested in this work.

for aria-braillelabel, in assessment we may want the test-taker to hear a correctly pronounced word but investigate it for misspelling.

regarding https://github.com/w3c/pronunciation/issues/113, which mentions aria-braillelabel, we will review/remove any references to uses cases solved by it (and pointing to aria 1.3)
