cancellations and updates

McCool: for the testfest next week, we should cancel except for the main call and the discovery call
… any other exceptions?

Kaz: given the cancellations this week, we should make sure we want to cancel the TD meeting

McCool: will send email and check with Ege and Sebastian

TPAC questionnaire

<kaz> 2nd questionnaire (member-only)

McCool: we need to know how many people and what time and any joint calls and conflicts

McCool: how can we be more precise in the estimate?

McCool: how can we get more input?

Kaz: talking with w3c management, and it has been difficult for everyone to get good estimates
… we can set up our own survey, though

McCool: rough estimate is 10-15
… next question is what time

<kaz> world clock (Tokyo, Paris, Vancouver)

McCool: needs to be during business hours in Vancouver
… the topic of our meetings will be mostly planning for next steps

McCool: for joint meetings, we need to pick one group

McCool: looking at Spatial Data on the Web group for geolocation

McCool: are there any other groups we need to have joint meetings with?

McCool: JSON-LD for signatures

Kaz: DID

McCool: what is DID status?

Kaz: PR
… AC comments

Kaz: there should be a DID group there

McCool: there are some common concerns in the comments

McCool: any conflicts or overlaps?

McCool: not sure about quarantine requirements

Daniel: will we shift to online if there is a new quarantine?

McCool: yes, that's the expectation

McCool: could we add remote-only meetings at better time slots?

Kaz: also thinking about holding a separate WoT remote meeting and focus on joint meetings at TPAC

McCool: we should plan a demo

McCool: what about a plugfest? also could have a virtual plugfest

wide review

McCool: finished the discovery explainer and created a branch for discovery
… asked for a 2 week review of a discovery WD
… privacy issue has been closed
… any comments?
… profile is still in flight

McCool: some critical fixed still needed for discovery

Daniel: we have issues in TD around references, can we have informal references in a normative section, and what about references to documents that don't exist yet?

McCool: we have similar problems in discovery

Kaz: we can use W3C drafts if they are REC-track or Note, and stable enough. the question is rather those documents are stable or not.

McCool: informational references are not a problem

action item review

McCool: any Japanese CG updates?

Kaz: there are 3 outreach events planned: publishing, security, ontology
… smart building ontology is interesting

McCool: linked building data group

McCool: have 7, need 13 more supporting

Testfest

McCool: testfest next week focusing on TD and discovery
… need the manual assertion inputs for things that aren't tested

Kaz: do we want to have a wiki page for the testfest next week?

McCool: could be confusing if we change things too much

McCool: no other business, adjourned

<kaz> [adjourned]
