Meeting minutes

minutes review

<kaz> Apr-13

agenda

<kaz> agenda for today

results of testing

McCool: so we talked last week on doing this but I did not see any changes today

Ege: yes, fady was supposed to write a script about it but he is on holidays now

PR 293

<kaz> PR 293 - feat: update logilab tdd results after latest developments

McCool: I will merge this PR

Ege: this author also has 3 PRs in the TD repo and I do not know what to do

McCool: I think for testing it is fine, for TD they need IPR checks
… can you ask someone about it?

Ege: I will

McCool: any PRs of interest for testing in other locations

McCool: also let's look at the closed PRs

https://github.com/egekorkan/wot-thing-description/blob/main/.github/workflows/assertion-sync.yml

https://github.com/egekorkan/wot-thing-description/blob/main/.github/workflows/assertion-sync.yml

Ege: automatically creates CSV and PR periodically
… it works for the wot-thing-description repo

McCool: there is a conflict problem now
… among Toumura-san's tool, my tool and yours

Ege: I have some updates
… I have created a github actions that updates the template.csv file regularly

<McCool> https://github.com/w3c/wot-architecture/blob/main/testing/extractFile.js

Kaz: do you think you both could collaboratively document how to use those tools?

McCool: (explains what his tool does)

Ege: maybe should install the tool under wot-tools, shouldn't we?

McCool: yeah
… (explains the whole work flow)

Kaz: would suggest we document that work flow somewhere

McCool: right
… but where to put it?
… where would be the best place?

Kaz: anywhere is fine at least as a starting point

McCool: would like to put it under 2022.03.Online/process.md then

(discussion on how to use the tools)

Kaz: maybe all of you three, McCool, Toumura-san and Ege, can generate brief description on their own tool
… and McCool can summarize the whole work flow based on that

McCool: yeah

<Ege> https://github.com/w3c/wot-testing/tree/main/tools

Ege: for now, that's fine, but would suggest we move the resources under the above tool area

Kaz: that might make more sense
… but let's clarify how to use all the tools first under McCool's draft area
… and then think about where to move all the resources after that

AOB

<Ege> wot-marketing Issue 307 - Showing Testing Results on the Web page

Ege: how to show the results to people?

McCool: we need testing plan first for the 1.1 spec work
… also need previous reports

Kaz: let's deal with the current 1.1 testing work and the marketing pages separately
… we should concentrate on the testing work for CR/PR transition
