RESOLUTION: to confirm the result of the poll - in favour of publication of the 3rd PWD of DCAT v3
A reminder to colleagues to disseminate news about the PWD once it is published to get feedback on the specified areas
Chairs will negotiate with PLH and publication team once confirmation that the draft passes RSpec tests
riccardoAlbertoni: the discussion on dataset series that has taken place by email will be brought forward in the next DCAT subgroup meeting
SimonCox: I think that an ideal solution has been proposed, but in practice there might be annoyances
riccardoAlbertoni: there is still the case of a data series and where distributions are in different formats - this will probably be handled best by the solution we are proposing
SimonCox: it could be peoples' conception of what a dataset series is. perhaps there is a thing - a 'DCAT series' - that differs from other conceptions
riccardoAlbertoni: the other thing to discuss is our timeline to the recommendation publication
… if we can get a candidate rec by end Feb, then we will have a rec published by mid May. At the last meeting Dave, Andrea and I were discussing our availability - and that needs to be taking into account in forward planning
… Availability has focused us on the 3 core issues, but there are many others in the pipeline.
… We need to have more discussion in due course. Colleagues need to make known any issues/concerns about availbility etc that might impinge on the work
There are issues relating to the re-chartering that we also need to discuss, perhaps when there are more people here
