riccardoAlbertoni: Any change?

Cataloged DCAT TTL - The label for the class dcat:Resource Issue #1388 https://github.com/w3c/dxwg/issues/1388
riccardoAlbertoni: It's about the rdfs:label value for dcat:Resource.
… The label does not match the fact that its subclasses may not be in a catalogue.
… She proposes to remove "cataloged" from the label.
AndreaPerego: The current usage note says "The class of all cataloged resources".
… So, for me it's fine to remove "cataloged" from the label, but we may need to rephrase the usage note - e.g., "The class of all resources that MAY be documented in a catalogue."
riccardoAlbertoni: Yes, but if we change the usage note we need to change also the other parts of the document.
… After all, when we refer to "resource" throughout the document, we mean a resource in a catalogue.
DaveBrowning: I think we need to be careful about dropping "cataloged" from the label.
… The point is that dcat:Resource is meant to be an abstract class, and nobody should directly use it - they should define subclasses instead.
… Making it less linked to a catalogue may lead to misunderstandings and inconsistent use.
AndreaPerego: I think this is a very good point, and I don't have a proposal to address the issue.
riccardoAlbertoni: So, the issue is to avoid that the name and definition of dcat:Resource is not putting a constraint on its subclasses preventing their use outside a catalogue.
riccardoAlbertoni: Maybe we could explicitly state that dcat:Dataset and dcat:DataService can also be used outside a catalogue, irrespective of what is said for dcat:Resource.
AndreaPerego: Maybe we can keep "cataloged" in the label, and relax the usage note as I said earlier. Noting also that the definition of dcat:Resource is not mentioning at all "catalogues".
riccardoAlbertoni: Probably we can say that dcat:Resource SHOULD be in the catalogue.
DaveBrowning: It may work.
AndreaPerego: Agree.
proposed: We revise the usage note of dcat:Resource saying that is SHOULD be in a catalogue, and keep "catalogued" in the label
