Shadi: content areas vs page structures
everyone wants to stick with page structures
<Daniel_> +1
+1
Shadi: text needs changing, 'Yet
this only works when...' needs to link back to previous
scene.
... suggestion: Yet screen readers can only function
effectively when the page is coded correctly.
Also, in scene 3, announces changed to identifies.
Suggested change: Scene 6, 'Fortunately, the internal website she mainly uses for her job has well-designed page structures, so that she can work efficiently.
Shadi: We've made 3 changes, none of which are substantial, so consider this done for now.
RESOLUTION: sub group considers this script done for now.
Shadi: suggested change, 'press the OK button at the end of this form.'
RESOLUTION: look at changing the persona to somebody using text resize rather than screen magnification (to cover the issue with reflow)
Suggested addition: 'in landscape orientation' to scene 3 audio. Discussed: adding annoying warning portrait message. Sub group says no. For the visual: ensure that the text appearing in portrait when shown sideways is really obviously difficult to read.
suggestion: remove second sentence from scene 4 audio. this was left over from previous version of the script.
RESOLUTION: sub group considers this script done for now.
<shadi> https://www.w3.org/WAI/standards-guidelines/wcag/new-in-21/#135-identify-input-purpose-aa
RESOLUTION: this script needs to go back for a re-write, the focus needs to be rewritten, at the moment, the autocomplete is a secondary issue, it needs to return to the primary purpose of the success criterion
