[Ulf shares details on medical leave, the next 4-6 weeks, and participants wish him a speedy recovery]

Cfc VISSv2 FPWD

Ted explains the process and expectations

Ulf: appreciate starting the process, this is encouraging for me and all of us as it has been a group process

[Ulf is primary editor and written majority of the document, along with early contributions from Patrick L and Isaac]

Peter: it is important to move along

Open issues

https://github.com/w3c/automotive/issues/381

Ulf: capture is a grouping

Ted: in addition to the Paths and static Ulf recommended for mandatory list, I think we should have time and change since they were part of VISSv1

Ulf: I agree based on that logic

Ted: I'll tag Erik and Sebastian to see if they have an opinion, won't change for FPWD but would be good to reach a conclusion

Gunnar: no strong opinion but curve and history are on my optional list

https://github.com/w3c/automotive/issues/382

Ulf: after the last meeting and learning that Bosch isn't specifying how the token is created, my own view is we could keep a common architecture for both
… my view is one architecture would be more difficult

Ted: or we have access grant server optional, you can create tokens in any manner @@bosch

Isaac: it would be worth showing multiple scenarios and how to handle grant server outside the vehicle
… as grant server is off the vehicle that makes sense

Ulf: agree with you

Ted: on high level we should be consistent with RPC as well, will ping Mangus F on that

Gunnar: I had an open question on key management but agree we should try to line those up - should be similar with RPC
… need to implement it and try it out

Ulf: I implemented in our reference implementation for VISSv2

Ted: we should do some hands on and get wider review from W3C security experts and elsewhere

Gunnar: raised with GENIVI security team and potential summer project for student to test out
… they are looking to review concrete proposal
