<riccardoAlbertoni_> https://
Riccardo: we published the new WD for DCAT 3
… should we discuss how to advertise it?
… and get comments
<riccardoAlbertoni_> https://
<riccardoAlbertoni_> https://
[discussing the email template]
Caroline: congratulations on the update!
<aisaac> +1
Caroline: let's get comments on the email template
<kcoyle> plh: on use of Google docs - being used more and more and W3C is looking to get an account of its own
<Caroline_> https://
Caroline: (concerns about personal data)
riccardoAlbertoni: we probably need to add a new column but also extend the list of people
[editing the list of folks to reach out to]
annette_g: the message could include a link to the spreadsheet and we manage access control via google
<annette_g> and we can just say why the link doesn't work for everyone.
Caroline_: ok, let's do that. also promote through social network
plh: we could also blog on https://
<Caroline_> https://
riccardoAlbertoni_: should the post different from the letter or could it be the same thing?
plh: could be the same
Action: Caroline to post a blog on DCAT3 once the letter is complete
<trackbot> Created ACTION-446 - Post a blog on dcat3 once the letter is complete [on Caroline Burle - due 2021-05-11].
Caroline_: anything else from the other subgroups?
[none heard]
<Zakim> AndreaPerego, you wanted to point to https://
Issue 1355
AndreaPerego: shared an idea on restarting the on the profile guidance
… welcome feedback
… proposal is to make it more similar to a best practice document
kcoyle: adding to my GH comment, I do think it would be useful given the multiple profiles that have been created
… it's possible that it could end up fostering ideas that could be generalized beyond the DCAT profile
aisaac: focusing on dcat profile to narrow the scope would help
… and avoid issues on profiles in general
… there was a problem on discussion on inheritance
… Karen posted a link to the dublin core primer
… trying to discuss inheritance forces us to discuss all of the possible cases, which isn't the best approach
… if we limit ourselves and avoid inheritance, we could make a way forward
<annette_g> +1 to Antoine
aisaac: I like AndreaPerego and kcoyle directions
kcoyle: so, what's next?
… I don't know the dcat profiles well, so we need someone from the dcat side of things to be part of this
… and find out if what if anything else has been written about the dcat profiles
aisaac: couple of survey documents about the dcat profiles
… that could be useful (even if it was a long time ago)
… I know about dcat and profiles but have limited time in the coming months
kcoyle: I can start looking at them in the context of dublin core and see what requirements seem to surface from them
aisaac: there was a paper a while ago...
kcoyle: I would welcome a link
AndreaPerego: I could look into it
annette_g: would like to help here as well
Caroline_: ok, we have a new subgroup for this then :)
… should we put this on the agenda for the next plenary?
<aisaac> " Towards an open government data ecosystem in Europe using common standards"
<AndreaPerego> I think this is the doc aisaac was referring to: https://
kcoyle: sure
