Resolution: minutes of last meeting approved

splitting the repositories

nick car has done a lot of work on splitting conneg-by-p and prof-vocab into separate repositories

SimonCox: needs people to check that issues have all beeb transferred correctly

https://‌github.com/‌w3c/‌prof-conneg-testing

https://‌github.com/‌w3c/‌dx-connegp

<roba> Needs PRs reviewed on new repos to consolidate removal of unrelated stuff

<annette_g> I can't add much beyond what Simon said.

https://‌github.com/‌w3c/‌dx-prof

<roba> https://‌github.com/‌w3c/‌dx-prof/‌pull/‌36

<roba> https://‌github.com/‌w3c/‌dx-connegp/‌pull/‌16

PWinstanley: nick has alerted group that issues will be closed in the original repo

need to check here https://‌github.com/‌w3c/‌dxwg/‌issues?utf8=%E2%9C%93&q=is%3Aissue+is%3Aclosed+prof

plh: will be checking issues manually over next few months
… challenge is that labels (tags) do not get trasnferred when you transfer an issue

<plh> https://‌www.w3.org/‌PM/‌Groups/‌issueboard.html?gid=99375

plh: plh will write a script to transfer labels from a snapshot that he took

Caroline: has anyone worked on other DCAT issues?

SimonCox: not in the last week

Extract issues from UCR

SimonCox: again, no progress

<Caroline> https://‌www.w3.org/‌2017/‌dxwg/‌track/‌actions/‌396

Caroline: close action-396

conneg

<AndreaPerego> close action-396

<trackbot> Closed action-396.

roba can you report on conneg please/

prof

roba anything on prof?

last comments from nick
… re the new repositories

SimonCox: it appears that we are not getting the key people for the agenda topics today

Caroline: do we need to reschedule the meetings to suit key people's timetables?

<roba> sorry - in discussions on other call - will come in on this in a second.

<Caroline> okay roba

<roba> Conneg - fielding questions from potential implementers - need to convene group calls ASAP and start resolving. a few minor issues emerging from implementation experience

prof?
… is it just the repo-splitting that has taken all the energy recently?

<Caroline> Where are these questions?

<roba> PROF - developing profiles for a range of applications - general issue is identification of canonical URIs for baseline specifications being profiled. Will bring discussion to plenary ..

question to roba: Are the conneg issues in GitHub?

<roba> https://‌github.com/‌w3c/‌dx-connegp/‌issues/‌15

is there an issue in prof GH as well?
… for specification URIs?

<roba> (and there a few discrepancies in implementation my testing suite development are throwing up)

<roba> no extra issue in prof GH - its not actually an issue with prof - its an implementation challenge.

Caroline: we are talking to roba through IRC

Caroline: roba said that there is conneg issue #15 and a few discrepancies with prof
… so we have to discuss these

PWinstanley: noting that ncar has issues with the connection and will be able to discuss the PRs on repos via email

open actions

<Caroline> Can we close this action? https://‌www.w3.org/‌2017/‌dxwg/‌track/‌actions/‌392

#397 on me is still open

<ncar> I think I've caught up on discussion from IRC. Seems there are checks needed for Issue transfer? Is that the only repo splitting PR issue? I don't see any other issues raised in the PRs but all 3 are lacking requisite approvals

we can close #388

<ncar> Yes, I did report for #392 so it can close

<roba> clarification - discrepancies are with conneg implementations - need to clarify intent and raise issues. Prof is still OK but registering profiles in the wild needs careful attention to identifiers.

we can close #390

<AndreaPerego> close action-390

<trackbot> Closed action-390.

<AndreaPerego> close action-392

<trackbot> Closed action-392.

<AndreaPerego> close action-388

<trackbot> Closed action-388.

question to roba : is the problem with identifiers related to tokens only?

<roba> no - it about canonical URIs for documents that do not define them - can we use the URL from specref for example ..

<roba> it needs discussion - probably a DCAT guidance issue too.

<roba> not sure where this dicussion needs to take place though

<Caroline> Roba, can we close this action? https://‌www.w3.org/‌2017/‌dxwg/‌track/‌actions/‌393

<Caroline> We will take this previous discussion to the next meeting. Hopefuly Webex will work. plh will kindly try to help with the webex issues :)

<roba> I guess so - it has no other detail.

<AndreaPerego> What about https://‌www.w3.org/‌2017/‌dxwg/‌track/‌actions/‌397 ?

<AndreaPerego> close action-393

<trackbot> Closed action-393.

<AndreaPerego> They are not about conneg but the guidance doc

<AndreaPerego> What about https://‌www.w3.org/‌2017/‌dxwg/‌track/‌actions/‌397 ?

<AndreaPerego> Got it, thanks.

as no further discussion the meeting was adjourned

<AndreaPerego> Thanks, bye!
