Ulf news

Ulf: as I am sitting in Geotab's office in Canada that earlier this Spring Volvo decided to close office I was working on in Copenhagen
... this was shortly after my move to Denmark and was not interested in relocating back to one of Volvo's offices in Sweden
... yesterday was my first day at Geotab, visiting Canada but will continue to reside in Denmark
... up until now have been representing Volvo and will remain in this group
... intent is to continue pretty much as before
... I am really happy to continue working in this group

Ted: naturally I'm elated you will continue in the group

F2F venue settled

Daniel: congrats to Ulf
... as to hosting the F2F that is more Adnan handling it

Ted: Adnan informed us today that BMW will be hosting us at their Mountain View office for our F2F before the workshop
... I will update our upcoming meetings wiki and send an announcement with registration

Workshop and meetup

Ted: the program committee for the workshop discussed holding a meetup in the area
... probably toward the start of the week. I'll try to find pertinent meetup group and get input from those in the area like Peter and Joakim

Ted: per previous call, Patrick enlisted feedback on Gen2 topics to prioritize - start of our roadmap and split off into another wiki page. They are somewhat prioritized [review of topics]

Daniel: Sensoris just published their specification and might be worth taking a look there
... this was part of GENIVI call on Monday, first version is public
... we may want to take a look at their data model and API

Ted: yes and have been talking to Prokop recently about the workshop
... previously he was inclined to do a mapping to our data model

link to Sensoris release announcement, no link found yet to spec itself although article indicates it will be made available on Sensoris site.
