ISO/IEC 20071-11 CD vote with comments by Gottfried. Comments were mostly accepted so that ISO/IEC 20071-11 on alternative image descriptions and WCAG 2.1 are now fairly aligned.
Irfan: First call of tf today. Will have a call every other week.
Janina: New people in the call - some haven't been involved in W3C previously.

Joanmarie: Role parity.
... Example: Anger mixed with emphasizing the cuteness could
lead to markup such as: `<p><em>Cats are
<em>cute</em> animals!</em></p>`
... That's not semantic, that's pronunciation.
... This seems like we achieved parity through
prounciation.
Janina: Could be on the agenda of
the tf. Easy for authors and user agents to consume.
... But not sure if will be in 1.0 doc. We are first looking
for the low-hanging fruit.
... In 1.0 we want a solution that is broadly applicable for
all web publishing.
Joanmarie: Irfan, could you open an issue on pronunciation, and then link it to the issue on role parity?
Janina: In the chemistry meeting today, we were also talking about pronunciation. Wondering if SVG may be appropriate. Term for pronunciation of circle changes with knowledge domain.
Janina: The CAPTCHA doc is now
out for wide review.
... Already got some significant comments. So far looks like
some tweaks to the doc, but not a significant revision.
... Comments will get discussed in RQ.
Janina: Who wants to join? -
Gottfried has.
... We need non-accessibility participation. This is a wider
issue beyond a11y. At TPAC we may need to do a little
recruiting.
Janina: Looks like it is not set up yet.
<MichaelC> CSS Transforms Module Level 1
Michael: We are actually
reviewing this.
... There was a comment related to WCAG by Ian.
Janina: Will ping Ian.
Michael: Comment was about "Stop or prevent animations happening".
Becky: I guess it falls under "stopping movement" guideline.
Michael: Potentially related to animation, WCAG allows up to 5 seconds. We could submit a comment on this, but need to check.
Janina: A good author / user agent could allow a user to control the speed of the animation - step by step
Janina: We need a better way of
tracking our comments and responses from other working
groups.
... And whether we like how they follow up on our comments.
(no other business)
