Agenda

McCool: Any agenda updates?
... none
... AC meeting this week

Eurecom's PlugFest report

Benjamin: Eurecom results
... Benjamin shows slides.. will be in the report also
... did not manage to work with proxy
... semantic was main point
... automotive domain
... we used SSN ontology and schema.org / iotschema.org
... had SPARQL endpoint
... used qudt ontology... probably not best choice
... included sensor annotation from VSSo
... real car has 1000 of sensors
... we push for capabilities approach
... app used simple recipes
... pushing warnings
... simple monitoring rules... e.g., tank is low
... other things: reasoning triggers actions
... looking on semantic annotation was hard to work with. some parts were hard coded
... example: BMW reaching home.. garage opens... closes...
... looking forward to solutions starting from TD using only semantic annotation to access interactions needed...
... no manual tweaking should be needed (in the future)

McCool: What was used to write scripts?

Benjamin: used node.js and python

McCool: please push slides to github.. will merge...

Korea F2F

McCool: If you plan to go.. please register
... need to make arrangements
... Visa letter (if needed) already late
... be aware... Google maps is wrong as mentioned on F2F wiki page
... i believe we have local organizer but no sponsor yet
... also we need to add input to agenda
... Soumya provided information already
... each task force should fill in notes to wiki

Plugfest Planning

McCool: meeting after this was used for PlugFest planning
... this week testing meeting
... Ege not possible to join this week
... Ege will present his work next week
... this week more discussion
... for next week we need to negotiate time because of conflict
... related: Oracle submitted new stuff: Twin simulator

Lagally: happy to present new information
... documented what we are making available since the PlugFest and the future
... instance is online 24/7
... management console
... documentation shows example
... participants can login to see live data
... Oracle has device model (similar to TD)
... we have converter between TD and device model
... can make this converter available
... there is another screen showing messages
... to get access please email me
... screen for dynamic behavior

McCool: wonder whether we can do some real testing?

Lagally: You can easily create multiple devices

McCool: I am very interested... will get in touch with you

Lagally: live demo next week? or testing call

McCool: testing call sounds fine

TPAC planning

McCool: trying to figure out logistics
... looking for sponsor
... need strong testing plan at this time

... issue 135 ...

<McCool> https://github.com/w3c/wot-thing-description/issues/135

McCool: Lots to add w.r.t. security
... Security task force
... metadata thing still pending
... discussed PRs
... Elena started privacy section
... I added new section on proxy
... section using tunnels to handle NAT traversal
... under testing we had meeting last week
... met with MK and Ege
... 2 people funded by Siemens but working for university
... can provide tools .. e.g. td validation
... busy this week... more to follow up next week
... I improved my online testing
... I noticed that normative references were added to documents
... needed for testing

Koster: one comment..
... think we need to separate online plugfest and testing
... parts are in common but i think it should be done separately

McCool: Agree
... will go in more details on this next call

Koster: general
