COGA Semantics to Enable Personalization: Advance to FPWD?

rs: ready to send CfC to publish?

mc: yes, as soon as I implement some edits from Lisa

the ¨bleeding edge¨ version is the current version

<Rich> https://rawgit.com/w3c/personalization-semantics/master/semantics.html

a couple new properties to add, big ass section at end cut out for now

RESOLUTION: take Personalization Semantics to FPWD

PYIA2 (Python to IA2 bridge) Progress

jg: biggest challenge was detecting IA2

have found right incantation of <techspeak>

so now able to start on the real work

need to work with Joanie on implementing right methods

a bit different roles, states, properties

do we use IA, or IA2?

some states and properties come via each separate channel

also developing test pages to exercise interface

mc: not using test harness?

jg: not until ATTA complete

for other interfaces, there aren´t multiple ways to get states

for this, there are 2

so I need to know how to handle

js: Core-AAM says in many cases which one we care about

jg: so the ATTA would need to parse that info and do something smart with it

rs: test harness has platform expectations

so when see IA2 stuff, will go to IA2 interface

etc. for other interfaces

<clown> https://www.w3.org/wiki/ARIA_1.1_Testable_Statements#errormessage_object_in_valid_state, for example

mc: stupid question

everyone: no, just one ATTA

jg: just need Joanie´s input on what she wants

we can provide multiple interfaces, don´t know how it´ll interface with Joanie´s stuff

jg: Also, anyone know IA2proxy.dll?

rs, js: 64-bit and 32-bit versions

jg: please send pointers

it´s working on a couple Windows machines, but not another

maybe that´s the issue

rs: looking around...

js: part of AccProbe

<clown> https://github.com/IBMa/AccProbe

js: ^ has stuff

jg: next week will bring my students to the call

Work on test harness during meeting

rs: you guys don´t need the handholding

can you pick some?

js: I can start at the bottom

mc: put names by them

rs: JS, go from 28 down?

mc: do we need more helpers?

rs: let´s focus on Rich, Stefan, Joseph who are now quite familiar

ask Bryan to finish his (has open questions) or reassign to Stefan

so nothing more for call, let´s go to work!

mc: should I be doing test harness stuff? there´s a learning curve, but can if needed

rs: perhaps not, we´ll move along with the above

clown: Core-AAM still awaiting some MS pull requests and a couple Apple responses

rs: have pinged those people

clown: AccName has a couple open issues to process

there was a feature request, but not implemented yet, and needs CSS TF attention

mc: sounds like we should bump that to .next
