Steven: So, what should we/I do?

Erik: The current text makes it sound more complicated than it is.

Steven: Indeed, the definitions are only used in the section itself

Steven: I asked in my reply if we could make a canonical list of things that would cause the need to do a manual rebuild.

Erik: I'll need to think about it.

Steven: Many of the old reasons disappear because of caseref and indexref
... In the meantime I'll work on the spec to make it a bit simpler

Erik: There is a lot of redundancy.
... In other sections we say in one sentence "this needs to happen", and here it seems to be very wordy.

Erik: I didn't realise about the "+json" suffix.

Steven: Indeed, it seems to be taken from the +xml example.

Erik: Right, but that is defined in a spec somewhere

Steven: True
... But XForms should decide it's a JSON value based on a mediatype, and not by sniffing the value

Erik: Maybe we should just say "by the way, there are these media types as well"
