Wilco: Any comments on the recent survey?
<MoeKraft> Can you post a link to the survey?
<maryjom> Survey results: https://www.w3.org/2002/09/wbs/93339/20170102/results
Wilco: Moe have you looked at feedback?
Moe: Back on Dec 14th we looked at Romain's
def for a selector. We believed it was too technical. So we looked back
at CSS 3
... Mary Joe's question - is a selector a pattern or a data structure?
To me its a pattern.
Mary Joe: Looking through comments. Some people we're saying it was the returned results; or the CSS style selector.
Moe: It is not the store. Rather the pattern.
Charu: It is the pattern used to filter the
input data.
... It's an expression. Simple as naming an element; or way more
complex.
Moe: Structure to me is an array; rather than a pattern.
<Wilco> A selector is a pattern that is used as a condition to filter input data to be evaluated against the test procedure. For example, finding all nodes in the DOM tree, or finding tags that are incorrectly closed in an HTML document.
Wilco: We have an updated proposal.
<MoeKraft> +1
<maryjom> +1
Wilco: Sounds good to me.
... we'll put this in for now.
... Just update the branch you are working on.
Wilco: Previous meeting we looked at a
couple of open sections. Mary Jo took on a couple. I took on a couple.
... Moe took on two.
... Let's look at other ones.
... I have completed my two. 4.1 Test input types; 4.2 Support
... Want to put those on the survey.
<MoeKraft> https://github.com/w3c/wcag-act/issues
Mary Jo: How could I have taken on a couple of sections if I was not at the meeting.
Moe: Think Mary Jo was confused for me.
Wilco: Leaves a couple of sections open to look at.
Charu: I'll take the output data section.
<Wilco> w3c.github.io/wcag-act/act-framework.html
Wilco: Section 6.1, 6.2 for Output data
... I've worked on output data a lot.
Alistair: I can take 6.2 to have a look at.
Wilco: I'll take 6.1
Charu: I'll take 7.1 - Managing exceptions.
<Wilco> https://w3c.github.io/wcag-act/act-framework.html
Mary Jo - Where do I find what to choose from?
Wilco: There are the sections in the
Framework.
... Leaves 7.2, 7.3
Mary Jo: I'll take 7.2
Wilco: Volunteer for 7.3?
... I'll take 7.3
Charu: Going back to rule description. We
reviewed bulleted list. We have a whole section on assumptions. Are we
just duplicating that in the rule description?
... Is it best to remove 3rd bullet, as it's repetition.
Wilco: Assumption should not be called two different things. Maybe we should include a reference to that section.
Charu: In the rule template there was a section on rule assumptions.
Wilco: I don't think so.
Charu: Shall I put manage exceptions; then link it to the section below.
Wilco: Should the rule description also include the scope of the rule?
Charu: We definitely need scope of the rule.
Wilco: Another comment, we should expand on these bullets a bit more. We can clarify things further.
Charu: I'll have another go.
Wilco: Could you create an issue for that.
Moe: There was a pull request that I worked on for rule description. We reviewed feedback, and created an suggested edit.
Wilco: We'll need to open an issue for this.
<MoeKraft> https://github.com/w3c/wcag-act/pull/25
<Wilco> https://github.com/w3c/wcag-act/issues
Charu: Trying to find where to create the issue.
Wilco: 5.2 Test Cases on Moe.
Moe: That was an issue I assigned to myself. I have not entered any update.
Wilco: There is also 3.1.
... Will you have a pull request for next week.
Moe: Yes.
Wilco: 4.1. 4.2 will be in survey for next
week.
... 23 closed as of today's decision.
... 22 Close.
... Introduction for contributors on survey for next week.
... different test case design - still being worked on. Copyright is
still open.
Moe: You submitted the contributing document.
Wilco: It will be on the agenda next week.
... We'll put the 3 pull requests on the survey.
... Discussion next week.
Mary Jo: Looking at the list of issues. 6, 8, 15 don't have assignees. Are these to be worked on?
Wilco: Those 3 are related to framework
requirements document. We'll need to pick them up. It was from the
feedback from WCAG WG.
... We'll push them to next week.
... Mary Jo can you set up the survey today?
Moe: Issue 17 is ready.
Wilco: 30, 31, 32
Moe: 24 needs updates.
