Timeline check http://www.w3.org/WAI/ARIA/project

PLH will hold us accountable to the schedule we publish

the above is what he´s using

ARIA 1.1 seems on track for Oct CR

but the AAMs not

so the core AAMs would be ready for CR by Jan

need MS to get back to us

including Core, AccName, DPub

Graphics and SVG might be ok with Feb

<Zakim> ShaneM, you wanted to talk about testing and naming

<Rich, Joseph, Shane trading branch edits>

drives testing

AccName has nothing significant

though clearer

we might want to redo 1.0 testing

there are 1.0 tests that impact naming that we should migrate to the automated test suite

it´s a bit complex to tease them out

<Zakim> tzviya, you wanted to ask if rich has merged the dpub and dpub-aam changes

<clown> actually, ShaneM, go here, and look for "name": https://www.w3.org/WAI/PF/testharness/testcases?testsuite_id=1

<clown> or better, "accessible name"

<Rich> http://rawgit.com/w3c/aria/master/aria/dpub.html

<clown> and, sometimes, "accname"

<Rich> https://rawgit.com/w3c/aria/master/dpub-aam/dpub-aam.html

DPub and DPub AAM merged

personalization semantics still need to set a timeline

not much to implement, but need some review; MC to draft an update

Practices? nobody here

<Zakim> MichaelC, you wanted to talk about risk and to mention backwards testig

<ShaneM> We want all of these tests to be part of the automation framework. these tests make ARIA a first class citizen

we should make sure we know what´s at risk

should redo 1.0 tests for completeness testing

hope to avoid for CR exit

<ShaneM> (my team has an action to convert these tests)

if we find things failing now that passed before, should look at for uture work

Repository split progress and next steps

Have split out CSS-AAM and HTML-AAM

ready to do others, just need to sync black out times

DPub stuff could be migrated now

maybe graphics next

CSS-AAM now at https://github.com/w3c/css-aam

HTML-AAM now at https://github.com/w3c/html-aam

xrefs not working

may need to use subrepository

MC to experiment on CSS-AAM

Copyright for code samples

to circle back, mainly for practices but want a coordinated approach

MC to approach legal team

AOB

none
