Newton: about the evidences
... we don't have a lot of implementations yet
... we need to fill in the form as well, not let just the "testers" to do it
hadleybeeman: when is the deadline
newton: September 26

<BernadetteLoscio> The group expects to satisfy its implementation criteria by 31 October 2016... from xueyuan@w3.org
BernadetteLoscio: I fully agree with Caroline that it is really important the members of the DWBP WG test the BPs as well
... during the meeting with the W3C Director - Philip - was mentioned to test the DB pedia
<hadleybeeman> S/Philip/Philippe
<newton> dbpedia, imbd..
<newton> maybe we could try Geonames as well
s/DE pedia/dbpedia
hadleybeeman: we can try someone that I know from Wikipedia and also send a message to the group
... it would be good to contact someone in dbpedia and if they are not interested we can fill in the form
BernadetteLoscio: we will contact them and if they don't want or don't respond we will do it
hadleybeeman: BernadetteLoscio and Caroline_ were talking about members of the working group testing as well
... it might be useful to send a reminder individually to some people in the WG
BernadetteLoscio: we caould also ask specific tasks. For example, Annette could test many of the BPs related to APIs
<hadleybeeman> Acc riccardoAlbertoni
riccardoAlbertoni: part of the people of the WG are also data provider
... I am going to check some of the BPs in our datasets and probably implement the BPs in our datasets
... it is important to send emails to the WG member asking to let us know if they are implementing
<hadleybeeman> Acc r
riccardoAlbertoni: also it is important to check if there are critical BPs
hadleybeeman: we may well find some that wre difficult to find implementation for
... if no one is doing we have to decide what to do with later
<hadleybeeman> Acc c
<riccardoAlbertoni> to Caroline wonderful!
<newton> Caroline_: is dealing with this action. she will send message to the group
<newton> ... and ask them to implement and test some specific best practices
BernadetteLoscio: in the begginig we understood that we only had to check evidences
... now we have this task to check if there is a BP
<hadleybeeman> S/begining/beginning
BernadetteLoscio: if nobody implements a specify BP maybe it is not a BP
... the fact of implementing a BP is enough?
hadleybeeman: I think so
... when we were talking wheather or not a BP could be tested
... we were trying to see if the BPs are "testable"
... so we tried to write the BPs very specific about testing and showing the implementors / publishers how to use that BP
... now we also have to gather evidences to check if the BP is really a BP
BernadetteLoscio: it does make sense
... what is going to happen if we find BP that is possible to implement, but no one is actually doing that
... /.
... ?
hadleybeeman: the WG will have to decide what to do
BernadetteLoscio: I was wondering if it would be a problem to move on
hadleybeeman: it is a problem if no one implements it
... it would be legal if we can implement it but if no one is actually using the group has to decide what to do
<newton> schema.org
newton: just wondering if schema.org could be tested?
hadleybeeman: yes! by all mean you can look at them
newton: thank you! we will test them as well
<BernadetteLoscio> ;)
<riccardoAlbertoni> sorry
<newton> sorry, hadleybeeman :(
<riccardoAlbertoni> bye!
<newton> bye!
<BernadetteLoscio> bye!
