Editorial practices after repository split

What practices do we want to keep or change?

keep using the tying together scripts?

do we want to all use .editorconfig

splitting repo means can have idiosyncratic practices

we may need some common practices for some things, and not need to for others

technical things aimed at keeping everything tied together more important to keep consistent

don´t over-prescribe

will keep noodling
