- 1. "Geographic information (also geospatial data): Information concerning phenomena implicitly or explicitly associated with a location relative to the Earth.
This is exactly the ISO TC211 definition, but it comes from ISO 19101-1:2014 Para 4.1.18 not ISO-19101 §4.16.
"Geographic information system (GIS): An information system dealing with information concerning phenomena associated with location relative to the Earth.
This is exactly the ISO TC211 definition, but it comes from ISO 19101-1:2014 Para 4.1.20 not ISO-19101 §4.18.
