Community Directory

<BenediktKaempgen> Yes. That was me.

<bhyland> http://www.w3.org/2011/gld/wiki/Linked_Data_Glossary

<BenediktKaempgen> It is quite loud around here (ESWC) so I use the chat.

<BenediktKaempgen> My motivation was it to have a way to find consensus on glossary terms and...

<BenediktKaempgen> publish the terms as Linked Data.

bhyland: BenediktKaempgen, what is your motivation to PROPOSED: this http://www.w3.org/2011/gld/wiki/Linked_Data_Glossary?

<BenediktKaempgen> yes.

<olyerickson> What "hand-crafted" page are we referring to?

bhyhand: I don't think a wiki is a way to get to a consensus, when having a group and editors..

<BenediktKaempgen> You are right, so I added a comment to http://www.w3.org/2011/gld/wiki/Linked_Data_Glossary?

<olyerickson> Is it this one? http://www.w3.org/2011/gld/wiki/Linked_Data_Glossary

bhyhand: could be confusing having both pages...

<BenediktKaempgen> How about renaming it?

gatemezing: I agree with bhyland point

<olyerickson> -1 to a separate doc/wiki (and esp -1 to starting it now)

bhyland: There is a way to converge using one source document

<BenediktKaempgen> I think there are ways, but this will take time and man power.

<bhyland> Propose: Having one canonical source document for the W3C Linked Data Glossary that has multiple serializations (CSV, Turtle).

<BenediktKaempgen> You're name is not on it anymore, Bernadette.

<BenediktKaempgen> Besides: We also have a wiki on the RDF Data Cube Vocabulary.

sandro: do we agree to have a wiki page as suggested by BenediktKaempgen ?

bhyland: I don't remember being recorded here...

<bhyland> olyerickson: Supports having one source document under w3 names space that is called the Linked Data Glossary.

olyerickson: We need to have one thing in our namespace, regarding our WG note

<bhyland> … valid as of the date published

<bhyland> … WG Note can be augmented.

olyerickson: worried about what happen with the notes when the group goes away?

<olyerickson> There could even be a continuing "Linked Data" IG...

sandro: We don't have to worry about that..confer other related groups or notes under w3c

<DaveReynolds> +1 to one source document +0 to multiple serializations (I'm not prepared to put the time into making that possible but don't object to someone else doing it)

<bhyland> Olyerickson: I think it would be nice to have a RDF serialization, but not a requirement. It is more important to have it correct as of this date.

<BenediktKaempgen> Thanks Sandro. There is no problem. It has not been a lot of work. So I would suggest to rename the wiki page of Linked Data Glossary into "Linked Data Glossary Outdated Wiki Version".

<olyerickson> +1 to being "nice..." (sorry if I come across as not-nice)

Best Practices

<bhyland> See updated schedule, see http://www.w3.org/2011/gld/wiki/BP_Timetable#Overview

bhyland: There will be new community group that will follow up the work

JSON-LD Feedback, see http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-gld-wg/2013May/0060.html

<MariosMeimaris> This is the updated link http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-gld-wg/2013May/0090.html

<MariosMeimaris> Sorry, I'm having some mic problems.

<MariosMeimaris> I put together a draft response with reviews

<MariosMeimaris> for JSON-LD and JSON-LD API

bhyland: MariosMeimaris proposes a feedback on JSON-LD here http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-gld-wg/2013May/0090.html

<MariosMeimaris> It contains editorial comments...

DaveReynolds: It was a draft meant to be approved by the group

<bhyland> Correction, Marios sent to GLD WG to confirm whether we were in agreement, :

<MariosMeimaris> I tried not to address any core issues, as their work is pretty far on the line.

<MariosMeimaris> No problem

DaveReynolds: before sending out to the JSON-LD group

<DaveReynolds> I think we should approve or reject today. The message has been out long enough.

<MariosMeimaris> I've also replied to the agenda email pointing out the new link

QB-UCR

<DaveReynolds> I'm happy with it going ahead.

<BenediktKaempgen> Yes, thanks.

<olyerickson> I don't have any passionate arguments with MariosMeimaris email draft...

JSON-LD 1.0 feedback

<olyerickson> +1 to MariosMeimaris sending feedback

<MariosMeimaris> So am I sending it on behalf of the GLD WG?

<BenediktKaempgen> Dave seems to be content with the planned changes.

<bhyland> @Marios, yes

<MariosMeimaris> Thanks

<BenediktKaempgen> Phil has not answered, yet, but I would think that he would be content with it also in case Dave is.

RESOLUTION: MariosMeimaris to forward the JSON-LW and API editorial review.

<BenediktKaempgen> I looks like.

bhyland: it is difficult to hear Benedikt, seems to speak from a highway

<BenediktKaempgen> I would propose to publish Data Cube UCR document as WG Note?
