UC-SS-1: Support the use of second screen solutions

Extends

Description

  1. The Assistive Technology (AT), by way of a secondary device, and presumably an app, establishes connection to Cloud Browser infrastructure - possibly directly to orchestration. Leverage Presentation API?
  2. Cloud browser provides access to all system functionality, UI (remote control, EPG) , content, auxiliary content (captions, descriptions)
  3. Secondary device, in concert with AT, will interact with system in using user preferred AT.

In order to effectively facilitate accessibility through the Cloud browser, a system would need to expose semantic markup to a client such as a second screen device which could connect to it. Allowing the second screen device to connect to the Cloud Browser environment in this manner enables the use device level assistive technology to be used by the user.

Notes

Exposing content in this manner would greatly increase the success rate of a diverse set of users consuming content in a manner that works for them by leveraging existing accessibility features built into the second screen devices.
