I think I should look into using styling of external links to add a wiki-style external-link symbol to these.

Graham Klyne, 6 Nov 2012, 15:20:54I've distinguished external links with class=externalRef and added Wikipedia-style CSS to distinguish them in the text. Also a brief note about this in the introduction.
