Description:
Should multiple channel (surround sound) support be mentioned in the Use-Cases and Requirements? James Wei points out that:

a) This would be typical for games, home theater, etc.
b) It is mentioned on W3C page: http://www.w3.org/2011/09/games/#surroundsound

Channel layouts are mentioned in the W3C Audio API Docs:
https://dvcs.w3.org/hg/audio/raw-file/tip/webaudio/specification.html#ChannelLayouts-section

Channel mapping is mentioned in the Media Stream Processing Doc:
http://www.w3.org/TR/2011/WD-streamproc-20111215/#worker-processing

Related notes:

So far there are mentions of channels handling in UC4 - Online radio broadcast, including
“mix multiple channels into a single stereo mix’. Agree that clearer mentions, possibly a specific requirement, would help clarify the need for multi-channel management.

Added the requirement in https://dvcs.w3.org/hg/audio/raw-file/tip/reqs/Overview.html#sources-of-audio - changeset https://dvcs.w3.org/hg/audio/rev/5210c5dd80e8
