Logistics Information for the W3C Workshop on Emotion Markup Language

The W3C Emotion Markup Language Workshop will be hosted by Telecom ParisTech in Paris, France, from Tuesday October 5th to Wednesday October 6th, 2010. The registration page is available.

The workshop program will run from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm on all days.

Although there isn't a recommended hotel, you should be able to choose from the many hotels nearby:

Transportation from the airport to the hotel

Roissy-Charles de Gaulle airport (code name: CDG) is the cloesest international airport. And Orly airport (code name: ORY) is another option.

Transportation from Charles de Gaulle Airport:

• Take the RER B in the direction of Robinson/St-Rémy until Denfert-Rochereau station
• Connection at Denfert Rochereau
• Take the subway line 6 to the direction of Nation and stop at Saint-Jacques station for "Dareau" or Corvisart station for "Barrault"

(average travel time: one hour - cost: 8,70 €)

Transportation from Orly Airport:

• Take the Orlybus shuttle until Denfert-Rochereau (terminus)
• Connection at Denfert Rochereau
• Take the subway line 6 to the direction of Nation and stop at Saint-Jacques station for "Dareau" or Corvisart station for "Barrault"

(average travel time: 35-50 min - cost: Orlybus 6,60 € + metro 1,70 €)
