The Workshop on W3C's Multimodal Architecture and Interfaces will be hosted by W3C/Keio in Fujisawa, Japan, from Friday November 16th to Saturday November 17th, 2007. The registration page is available.

The workshop program will run from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm on Friday, and from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm on Saturday.
A block of 20 rooms have been booked in Dai-ichi Inn Shonan close to Japan Rail Tsujido station in Fujisawa.

Note:
In case you missed to withdraw JPY cash at the airport, foreign credit and cash cards can be used at Post Office and Seven Bank ATMs throughout Japan.
It is, however, advised to contact each credit card company beforehand and check the location of each ATM and its availability as these conditions vary from machine to machine.
There are over 26,000 Post Office ATMs in Japan and post offices which provide this service display stickers indicating which cards are accepted. Cards from the Cirrus, PLUS, Maestro and Visa Electron networks can be used. Accepted credit cards include VISA, MasterCard, American Express and Diners Club.
From 11 July 2007, withdrawal of Japanese Yen on Seven Bank ATMs is also available for international cash cards and credit cards. Over 12,000 Seven Bank ATMs are placed at 7-Eleven convenience stores throughout Japan and the service will be given 24 hours a day in English, Korean, Chinese and Portuguese. Cash cards from the PLUS and Cirrus networks can be used. Accepted credit cards are VISA, MasterCard, American Express, JCB and China UnionPay.
Narita International Airport (Code name: NRT) is the only one international airport in Tokyo area.
The workshop organizer strongly suggest you use the limousine bus from/to Narita Airport.

You will arrive at the bus stop #5 on the north of Tsujido Station, while the hotel (Dai-ichi Inn Shonan) is on the south side. So please go to the south side of the station using the elevator/slope/stairs on the west side of the bus stop.
Please note that the return ticket need to be reserved. So please let the organizer know your flight departure time and preferred bus time.

There are busses avaiable from Tsujido station north exit to Keio.
The travel time from the Hotels to the venue (Keio University) would be approximately 30 minutes.
The fare for a one way ticket is 320 JPY. The bus driver does not accept bank notes. However, you can change 1000-yen bill into coins in the bus using the changer next to the driver.
Please go to the North side of Tsujido station, and use the bus with a sign of "辻34" (Tsuji-34) which leaves "1番のりば" (Depot #1).
Note. There are two bus stops have similar names: "Keio Daigaku" and "Keio Daigaku Honkan-mae". Please get off the bus at the terminal (not "Keio Daigaku" but "Keio Daigaku Honkan-mae").

Lunches and refreshment will be funded by W3C/Keio.
The organizer is planning to hold some fun events both on Friday, 16 November and Saturaday, 17 November around the workshop venue. If you are interested in joining these events, please let the organizer know using the registration page.
Note. Unfortunately, the organizer can not fund the events, however, happy to bring you to some nice Japanese restaurant etc. and help you to enjoy the events.
The organizer is planning to hold a small party in the evening on Friday, 16 November in Tsujido.
