pauld: plan to dedicate next week
to the WG, will rerun report by the end, have issues list ready
to discuss at next telcon
... mainly working on report of patterns use in the wild
... as discussed informally, I presented the report to the W3C
AC in Banff
some positive feedback, but again it's a challenge to translate interest into participation
discussion on participation.
XMLBeans holding a DOM does well in our tests, need to think again about +1 test
gcowe: have assistance for
testing Web Sphere
... possibly in two weeks
pauld: ok, be ready to start work on issues next telcon and get Basic to PR
JonC: worried about the XPath expressions being overly complex. There are some we can process using XPath 1.0 style. Do we want to mix and match styles? Doesn't that add more confusion?
pauld: I think we resolved this by saying we'd write an introduction / guide on how the patterns work
JonC: consistency seems better over simplifying some of the patterns
