Rationale: Rationale: 3 seconds is based on something long enough to get users attention and not so long as to prevent someone who could not work with the flashing going on from being able to wait it out. The Working group reached consensus on the 3 second limit.

Resolution: close issue 1652. Update the text of GL 2.5 to, "Help users avoid mistakes and make it easy to correct mistakes that do occur." Rationale: working group agree that this is easier to understand and consistent with the success criteria.
Resolution: Accept the following defintion of multimedia, "audio or video synchronized with another type of media and/or with time based interactive elements."
