Administration

dka: next week we'll have members of JSON-FU & Doug Crockford coming on the call
... we need confirmation from people not on today's call that they will be on the call
... but I'll continue to assume that they will be here

ht: the thread on TAG mailing list has become quite heated

dka: having a telcon discussion should help

ht: we particularly need Alex & Yehuda to attend

dka: TAG members who are interested in JSON need to be on the call next week
... or they don't get a voice
... re posting of minutes
... thanks to ht for doing minutes from 1st day of F2F
... we do need to go through them and address the issues that ht's raised
... I will post on this; silence = assent
... if people are on vacation, they need to send regrets

Dan

dka: we talked about a document from the TAG on how the web can be more secure
... Alex wrote a list on the whiteboard
... I'm planning to put those into a document on github

Henry

ht: I spent some days at MIT after the F2F

<dka> https://github.com/w3ctag/secure-the-web

ht: had a useful discussion with Jonathan on whether we could make a positive a proposal about the philosophy language in HTTP-bis
... we made some headway, but I'm not quite ready to share it

<Yves> note that httpbis has been submitted to IESG for publication

JeniT

JeniT: I'm out of the picture until the end of the month, hoping to be able to devote more time from then
... also some progress on CSV on the Web
... I'm finding it hard to make these calls

[we fail to find an alternative time]

dka: anyone want to create a Doodle poll?

plinss: I can do that

F2F

dka: the developer event was good in Boston
... we should try to replicate that in London in January
... but we'd need to find a venue
... perhaps Google Campus

ht: perhaps MobileMonday?

dka: not developer-y enough
... I was thinking London Web Standards & various London JS communities & meet ups etc
... try to get multiple communities alerted to it

Sergey

twirl: looking at web animations

<dka> http://www.w3.org/2001/tag/group/track/actions/open

Yves

<dka> http://www.w3.org/TR/2013/REC-touch-events-20131010/

Yves: Touch Events has been published as a Recommendation
... assessment of stability wrt WebIDL led to final publication
... also new Web Audio API draft published today

<Yves> http://www.w3.org/TR/2013/WD-webaudio-20131010/

Next week

dka: I'm going to focus on lining up discussion on JSON for next week's call
... I confirmed with IETF folks, and have sent note to Doug
... we'll devote whole call to that discussion
