Candidate tools to be redesigned

This is a list of tools that need to be redesigned to match W3C graphic identity and conventions. This is compiled for the purpose of a 4-week internship (20 Aug. - 14 Sep. 2012) at W3C/ERCIM by a designer/integrator student (AFPA).

Validators

  • Platform: Perl, Java, static HTML - open source
  • Goal:
    • design and develop a generic UI framework for validators
    • unify the markup-validator and validator.nu under a single interface
    • rewrite the donation program script
    • provide generic js functionalities, e.g. in the spirit of Keegan Street work
    • integrate with other W3C validators
