ISSUE-119 (rel-repetition): Certain relationships take on a special meaning when repeated; other solutions may be cleaner [HTML 5 spec] http://www.w3.org/html/wg/tracker/issues/119 Raised by: Maciej Stachowiak On product: HTML 5 spec The "up" link relation, when repeated, has a meaning of multiple levels up, depending on the repeat count. It's been suggested that numbering (e.g. "up2"), names (e.g. "great-grandparent") or an attribute (e.g. level="3") would be better. One specific point of concern: relList lists repeated relations only once, and therefore does not convey the semantics of repetition. The proposed solutions would avoid this.
