ACTION-29 (Was: Very belated Browser API list-up)

As I see it, the things on that list that may affect IndieUI Events are the following:

1. Drag/drop. Potentially covered by markrequest features in ACTION-25.

2. IME context. We have some of this (RTE) deferred to ARIA 2.0. Might need a new action on issue on this one if you think it necessary for IndieUI.

3. Re-arrange order of web app "windows", dialogs, panels, etc. Might need a new action on issue on this one or might be covered by ACTION-13.

4. Pan/Scroll. Covered in FPWD.

5. Spatial/Logical navigation. Covered by ACTION-13, ACTION-14, and ACTION-15.

6. Zoom. Covered in FPWD.

7. Traverse search context: previous, next. Added notes to ACTION-13 and ACTION-15.

8. Show/hide images, which could be covered in User Context). Added to ACTION-7.

IMO, the other aspects covered here would be outside the scope of IndieUI, as they are more about native API functionality rather than something the web applications should need to care about. However, the Web Apps Working Group may want to consider adding new standard Events or UIEvents to cover related notifications for some of these, for example, when debugging starts or stops.
