I agree this should be a seperate issue. The expiration parameter is in line with what has been expressed in the letter from WP29 to the working group. I am wondering…why do we need to enable the *site* to say it’ll expire? For cookies, this makes sense (we empty your shopping cart after 24 hours, and so on). For this, it seems that the site probably has no interest in a limited-time exception. The *user* might want to configure their UA to prompt them to review UGEs that are old, if they like, but that’s not an API change, is it? > > mvg::Rob > > Roy T.
