Re: {agenda} HTML WG telcon 2009-10-29: issues, action items, calls for consensus/proposals, task forces, F2F...

Regrets for tomorrow - I'm slammed with other non-HTML WG related stuff
this week.

I plan to create a new HTML5-EPB spec next week with the following changes:

- Removing @version completely
- Keeping @profile obsolete but conforming
- Defining the new replacement mechanism for @profile as rel="profile"
- Appending Julian's HTML4 @profile correction to the document

We should plan to get feedback from all spec writers that are affected
by this change (GRDDL, DC-HTML, RDFa and eRDF).

If nobody else volunteers to write a counter proposal to keep Microdata
in the HTML5 spec, I'll do it. Just to be clear, I'd be doing it for the
sake of fairness and only if the chairs want me to author a
counter-proposal. It would be a collection of all of the reasoning
posted to this mailing list for keeping Microdata in the HTML5
specification.

Paul Cotton: You had said that you would be willing to review a very
rough draft of the RDFa WG charter. It's available here - please feel
free to leave your feedback in-line (clearly labeled, in the wiki):

The request for feedback and comments are certainly not limited to Paul
- we'd like to hear from the rest of HTML WG as well before proceeding.
