By convention, this means that the person in question now works for the
company listed, but used to work for the parenthetical company or
companies during their tenure on the SVG WG.  If the company changed
names, we would say "Some Person, FooCo (previously known as BarCo)".

This ambiguity is a bug in English, not in the specification.  I am
unsure who you should file a comment with, but I'm pretty sure the LC
period for English is over.  I suggest that you raise the issue with
implementors of English, and perhaps it can be changed in English 2.0
(or whatever the next version is).  I will also raise an issue on the
pronunciation of numbers (e.g., 15 and 50), such that they are difficult
to distinguish and need constant clarification.

For consistency, I have removed the stray instance of "formerly of", in
hopes that this will clarify the matter.  Please let us know promptly if
this satisfies your comment.
