The GJXDM relies on a network model (instead of strictly hierarchical), and features substantial use of ID/IDREF. It would be nice to standardize some of that syntax. Does W3C have a policy on resolving conflicting standards? It seems that this problem is also appearing between XML Schema and XML 1.1.
