I see no concerns from the Geolocation WG participants in response to the mail Giri sent to the group re migrating DeviceOrientation API to DAP WG. I'm wondering whether that means we could merge PR#12 soonish. That'd allow us to collect more feedback on the DAP draft charter and see whether any existing DAP participants would have concerns over taking the new work.

For the record, I'm supportive of this addition to this group's charter since I believe it will be easier to have this API in the same group with the Generic Sensor API that is planned to serve as the blueprint for future sensor APIs, including DeviceOrientation redux.
