Government Linked Data Executive Primer
From W3C eGovernment Wiki
Michael's brainstorming re structure (as of my ACTION-104)
- short intro re LD (principles and LOD cloud), heavily referring to on http://www.w3.org/TR/egov-improving/
- summary of benefits (re-use, data integration, cut costs, crowd-sourcing, etc.) and existing stuff based on http://linkeddata.deri.ie/node/72
- overview on LD life cycle (raw data, modeling, publishing, discovery, consumption/consolidation, apps)
- references to important resources (incl. http://www.w3.org/2001/sw/wiki, http://linkeddata.org/guides-and-tutorials, etc.)
Discussion 2010-03-04:
- add section on components (stores, Drupal, etc)
- add section on error correction/user feedback loop
- focus should be on requirements rather than implementation
- policies how to (URIs, access, etc.) such as in http://www.cabinetoffice.gov.uk/cio/chief_technology_officer/public_sector_ia.aspx
